1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using DiscountCha you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the app and all related services immediately.
2. About DiscountCha
DiscountCha helps you discover and track offers, discounts, and loyalty benefits from participating merchants. We curate merchant information, but we do not sell products, process transactions, or control the terms set by individual merchants. Availability of any offer is subject to change without notice by the issuing merchant.
3. Account Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements to create or maintain an account. By registering you represent that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete, and that you are using the app for personal, lawful purposes.
4. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs through your account. Notify us at info@discountcha.com immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. We may update your account data to maintain accuracy or comply with legal obligations.
5. Fair Use of the App
DiscountCha is intended for personal use to discover merchant offers. Automated harvesting of offers, excessive scraping, sharing of gated offers without permission, or using the app to enable bulk purchasing, reselling, or other commercial exploitation is prohibited. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend access to protect service quality for all users.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the app. Prohibited conduct includes attempting to gain unauthorised access to systems, reverse engineering the service, interfering with security features, impersonating other users, submitting false or misleading data, transmitting malicious code, or using the app to violate any law or third-party rights.
7. Data Protection & GDPR
DiscountCha processes personal data as a data controller in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR and EU GDPR where relevant. We collect and use personal data to operate the service, provide personalised offers, and communicate with you based on the lawful bases set out in our Privacy Policy. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data and the right to data portability. 8. Merchant & Third-Party Content
Offers, descriptions, prices, and availability are provided by merchants or third parties and may change at any time. DiscountCha does not guarantee accuracy, and we are not responsible for errors, omissions, or discontinued offers. Your participation in any merchant promotion is solely between you and the merchant.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, and proprietary technology provided through the app are owned by DiscountCha or our licensors. You may use the app and its content in accordance with these terms, but you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
10. Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the app at any time if you breach these terms, present a security risk, or engage in conduct that may harm DiscountCha, our community, or our partners. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination the licence granted to you under these terms will end immediately.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DiscountCha will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption arising from or related to your use of the app or any merchant offer. Our aggregate liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim, or £50 if no fees were paid.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes to our services, legal requirements, or operational practices. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after updates are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
